Poke Probability — Privacy Policy
Privacy policy for public version 1.1 and version 1.2 test builds / planned ad-enabled release. Calculations run locally; optional official deck import uses the network only when you request it.
Data in the app
Poke Probability saves card names, deck names and numeric settings locally on your device so that you can continue from your last inputs. The developer does not receive those inputs or store them on a server. No account registration or entry of personal contact details is required. The public version 1.1 contains no ads, tracking, analytics or third-party advertising SDKs.
Changing or removing data
Edit values or delete rows within the app to change saved settings. Deleting the app removes its local data. Device backups and restoration are controlled by Apple’s settings and policies.
External pages and support
The support and web privacy links open external pages only when you select them. Those pages are hosted by GitHub Pages, and support issues are handled on GitHub. GitHub processes use of its services under its own Privacy Statement. Support issues are public; please do not post personal information or private deck data. The app does not automatically send your saved inputs to these services.
Apple operates App Store and TestFlight distribution under its own terms and privacy practices, including feedback you choose to submit through TestFlight. Those distribution services are separate from the app’s local calculations.
Contact
For questions about the app or this policy, use GitHub Issues. Please do not include personal information in public issues.
Optional official deck import in version 1.1
Only when you request an import, the app connects to Japan's pokemon-card.com website using a URL containing the deck code you enter. The destination receives that code and normal connection information such as your IP address. The app does not send your saved deck settings to a developer server. After you confirm an import, names, counts, categories and version IDs are saved on your device. Card images and effect text are not fetched. Imported information and tournament settings follow the same local deletion and backup behavior described above.
Device permissions
The app does not request camera, photo library, location, contacts, microphone or notification permissions. The public version 1.1 does not request tracking permission. See below for tracking permission and consent in version 1.2. Opening external links uses the destination's own services and policies.
Advertising and consent in version 1.2
The public version 1.1 has no advertising. Version 1.2 test builds and a future ad-enabled public release use Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform (UMP). Development, internal QA and TestFlight use test ads.
Google may process IP-derived approximate location, device and advertising identifiers, ad interactions, performance, crash and diagnostic data for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. The app does not send card names, deck names or calculation inputs to the developer or advertising services.
The app requests ads only when UMP permits it and presents consent or opt-out choices when required. If Apple's tracking permission (ATT) has not been decided, the app presents that choice before initializing the ad SDK. Denying tracking leaves every calculation available and causes the app to request nonpersonalized ads. Nonpersonalized ads can still involve data processing for delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Advertising first-party ID is disabled.
When required by UMP, you can open ad privacy options in App information to change your choices. You can also change tracking permission in iOS Settings. New consent and permission prompts wait while calculations are running or the keyboard is visible.
See the Google Privacy Policy for Google's data practices.
Opening source and attribution links (including Limitless TCG and artist credits) uses the destination services. They receive ordinary connection information. The app does not send saved calculation inputs with these links.
